Psalm 15

I read this Psalm this morning and it made me think about my walk:

A Psalm of David.
O LORD, who shall sojourn in your tent? Who shall dwell on your holy hill?
He who walks blamelessly and does what is right and speaks truth in his heart;
who does not slander with his tongue and does no evil to his neighbor, nor takes up a reproach against his friend;
in whose eyes a vile person is despised, but who honors those who fear the LORD; who swears to his own hurt and does not change;
who does not put out his money at interest and does not take a bribe against the innocent. He who does these things shall never be moved.
(Psalm 15:1-5)

My friends, as I read this Psalm, I thought about my walk and my unworthiness. It humbled me so much, it is almost as reading what our goals as followers of Christ should be. It did the same that Psalm 1 does for me, when it speaks about how a man walking with the Lord should be.

I pray that this encourages you the way it did to me. We serve and follow a Sovereign and Powerful God, one who guides us at every step, yet we are so easily distracted, so easily forget about Him, we forget that He calls us to live a life of righteousness and honor.

Thank you Lord for these small reminders that I find in your Word!
